Republicans are Gaining in Registered voters
According to an article from the New York Times, Republicans are gaining in the polls in several swing states. There are still more registered democrat voters, but the margin between republican and democrat registered voters are less than it was in 2012. This same type of situation is also happening in other states as well.

Trump's vice president nominee, Mike Pence, had been talking to Cruz by messages and over the phone. Mike Pence played a very important role in Cruz's decision to vote for Donald Trump. By Ted Cruz endorsing Trump will help Trump get more of the conservative party to vote for him on election day.
